In 2004 BPN established a presence in the USA with a regional office in the Lancaster Pennsylvania area. Our objective was to both strengthen our relationships with existing US investors and donors, as well as identify others in search of a proven approach to stimulating 3rd world business development.

BPN USA has a very pro-active local operating board and a growing international Board of Reference. Local board members are actively engaged in and available to communicate the vision of BPN to interested individuals and groups. The Annual May 3rd Fundraising Dinner will be hosted by BPN Founder and international entrepreneur, Juerg Opprecht.

This year the focus will be on the needed support for the recent launch our work in Nicaragua - a critical emerging sector in Latin America. Loans and extensive/intensive training have already begun to leverage the impact of 8 existing businesses in Managua, with 12 others slated for inclusion later in 2007.
